*Monocoque: DAIWA's latest technology MONOCOQUE BODY is manufactured using an integral molding system to create a rigid one-piece body. By removing the conventional bolts used to attach the side plate, the interior space within the gearbox body is maximized. The MQ BODY utilizes a large diameter motor plate that bolts to the body to seal the internals. The extra space created in the MONOCOQUE BODY allows DAIWA to fit a larger diameter drive gear into a smaller reel. This system immediately creates the more durable reel inside and out;

*Digigear: The drive gear in each reel consists of 3 key elements that cannot be overlooked. (Design creativity, processing technology and high quality material);

*Magseal: During the design process, 22 key EXIST areas for water ingress were analyzed. The introduction of the MQ body prevents water from entering the body, while rotation areas or areas that are frequently exposed to water have been fitted with MAGSEALED / MAGSEALED BALL BEARING technology.
