Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and long-time guide John Simms.

After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on the world’s most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time was not up to the task of keeping the best anglers dry, comfortable and safe on the water.

So he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get out on the water sooner and stay out longer in all weathers.

The Flats Sneaker is part of the Simms portfolio. Designed from the ground up to provide safety but above all comfort on any type of terrain, the perfect combination of durability and agility will provide a comfortable and safe ride season after season. The synthetic material and high profile lead to strength, durability and comfort.

A low-profile lacing system with non-corrosive hardware and a high profile keep your foot secure and comfortable. The rubber outsoles provide increased traction on all types of ground, while the dual-density midsole helps absorb shock.
