Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and long-time guide John Simms.

After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on the world’s most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time was not up to the task of keeping the best anglers dry, comfortable and safe on the water.

So he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get out on the water sooner and stay out longer in all weathers.

The Flyweight Boot Felt is part of the Simms portfolio. Designed from the ground up to provide safety and comfort on rough terrain, the perfect combination of durability and agility will provide a comfortable and secure ride season after season. TPU material welded in areas exposed to abrasion leads to their strength and durability.

A low-profile lacing system with non-corrosive accessories and a high profile keeps your foot secure and comfortable. Vibram Felt soles provide increased traction on slick surfaces with the 12mm thick felt attached to the sole of the boots, while the dual-density midsole helps absorb shock.
