WLC Bagzz Special Wafters Buchu Berry

The Wafters Bagzz Specials range of hookbaits has been specially developed for anglers who prefer fishing with solid PVA bags or PVA mesh bags. Over time, on heavily pressured lakes where bag fishing is common, we noticed that there are moments when a different hookbait or a slightly different approach to the mix inside the soluble bag is needed in order to generate extra bites or even to target larger carp. For such situations, we created the Wafters Bagzz Specials range.

The range includes various colour and flavour combinations, but the Wafters Bagzz Specials were designed to resemble the particles or boilies found in the bag mix. Our observations on certain lakes showed that during some periods carp prefer hookbaits that match the colours of the pellets or boilies they are feeding on, rather than bright, fluorescent “shouting” colours. Wafters Bagzz Specials are two-tone hookbaits that easily blend into the mixes placed inside soluble bags.

Wafters Bagzz Specials Frankfurter 14mm can also be used as a single hookbait on rigs such as a Wafter Rig when fishing with baited spots, but they are equally effective when casting close to a soluble bag or inside a PVA bag filled with a well-prepared mix of pellets or Bagzz mixes.

The WLC Carp Wafters Bagzz Specials range meets even the strictest requirements for this type of critically balanced hookbait. The wafters mix used in their composition has been extensively tested, and the 14mm version has been improved to balance perfectly with most size 6 and size 4 hooks available on the market.

The mix was designed to provide medium long-term buoyancy while also having very low water absorption, preventing the bait from becoming heavier and maintaining its optimal buoyancy.
