But you really don't have to just take our word for it - simply open any pot from our range and just squeeze any pop up between your fingers for a few seconds. You'll be immediately struck by its slightly elastic, spongy feel. The high quality mix we have been using allows the pop up to maintain its buoyancy for longer periods of time, creating a perfect rig presentation for 24h or even more. No matter how well a pop up smells, we kindly inform you that this may not be enough. If the producer did not use natural flavors or does not have the appropriate solluble components, you might well find yourself blanking with flavors that served you well in the past. The explanation is not apparent but simple - the smell may be the same, but the solvents differ from one flavor to another.

At Select Baits we do our best to always use flavors that are as close as humanly possible to the natural ones. When we do have to resort to artificial flavors we make sure to get our supplies from manufacturers that frequently work with the very best bait makers in Europe. It is only by doing this that we feel confident enough in bringing you a bait that lives up to the highest standards of the market. When we don't use two entirely different flavors, we at least mix various iterations of the same flavor, with different solvents, which does not change the final aroma, but adds flexibility. Furthermore this makes sure than once in the water, our pop up will gradually gives off flavors regardless of water temperature. In addition to flavor, color is perhaps the second fundamental criterion in choosing your pop ups.
