Belachan Powder is a highly favoured carp bait additive. It’s a product processed from Belachan block, a blend of fermented shrimp and salt, without any carrier like cornflour.

Belachan Powder is a superb carp attractor, perfect for use in boilies, stick or bag mixes, as well as soaks/glugs. It generates a powerful carp-feeding response that won’t disappoint.

It’s over 60% water-soluble. Combined with its powerful aroma and high soluble protein content, it stimulates strong feeding reactions in carp, even in cooler water temperatures. It’s a top pick for winter fishing.

Because it’s completely natural, there are no usage limits. In fact, the more you use, the stronger the lure.

Describing our product, it’s a dark brown gritty powder with a potent aroma and a minimum of 60% water solubility.

Guidelines for usage per kg dry mix:

For carp bait, approximately 50g is recommended. If you’re using it as a soak/glug, first dissolve it in a bit of water before adding it to the rest of the liquids.

For special hook bait or winter use, feel free to increase the dosage to 150g/kg. With our Belachan Powder, there’s no need to limit your usage.
